How it is worked out: from skill 1, each skill point is gained with the recipe that costs the fewest reagents per point, counting 100% of crafts as a skill point while a recipe is orange, 75% while it is yellow and 25% while it is green. A recipe is used from the skill at which it turns yellow, when you can surely learn it; those chances are what players documented for Classic, not something Blizzard has published for Forever. A step marked “not yellow yet” borrows the recipe that turns yellow soonest, because nothing is yellow at that point; the skill its trainer asks for is not in the client, so check it in game. Recipes with a recovery time (transmutes, Mooncloth) are left out. The client does not say who teaches a recipe or where it drops, so the plan does not check that you can get each one.
Leveling 1 to 300
A route that uses the fewest reagents, worked out from the skill colours and reagents in the client: 462 crafts and 720 reagents in all. It counts items, not prices or how hard they are to find.
Recipes
All 262, from the client: 261 with their reagents, 63 not in Classic. The four numbers are the skills at which a recipe turns yellow, green and grey; an orange one is the skill it asks for.
