Professions in Forever

Every recipe the beta client lists for the thirteen trades: what each makes and takes, when it turns yellow and grey, what is new since Classic, and the camp objects each trade adds to the shared campfire.

Crafting professions

Pick two primary professions. Each trade makes its own gear, potions and tools, and adds three objects to the shared campfire.

Gathering professions

Feed the crafters. They find the materials the crafting trades use, and add their own camp objects too.

Secondary professions

Everyone can learn these. Cooking builds the campfire itself; First Aid, Fishing and Poisons fit around whatever else you do.

The campfire

Cooking makes the campfire and every other trade adds an object to it, three each, at skill 20, 140, 300. Sit or craft beside it for a minute and you get what the objects give for an hour: a buff, a vendor or a workstation. One camp object per player at a fire, and a shared cooldown of one hour.

The skills 20, 140 and 300 are Blizzard’s published rule; for the crafting trades the client table carries them too. Blizzard says the numbers may still change before launch.
