How the battleground works
- The battleground combines capture points with one central flag.
- The first side to reach 2,000 points wins.
- Holding more capture points makes your points come in faster.
- Returning the flag to a base you control adds points.
The two factions
Theramore Expeditionary Force
Base: Northwatch, in the Barrens.
Both are new factions in the beta client. See them with every other faction on the reputation page.
Rewards
- Reputation with your side's faction.
- Vendor gear at reputation milestones: trinkets, rings, cloaks, weapons and armor, plus consumables.
- Marks of Honor from reputation quests.
- At Exalted, a short questline that unlocks the faction's exclusive tabard.
How to join
- Talk to a battlemaster in a major capital and queue from there.
- Or queue at your side's base in the Barrens: Merchant Coast for the Horde, Northwatch for the Alliance.

- Rank Point and Honor amounts per win. See the PvP page for what Blizzard has published about both tracks.
- Whether the Legacy challenge that names an Exalted battleground faction means these two factions. The client lists them as new battleground factions, but the challenge text does not name them.
